The Message from the President to the Federal Assembly

Vladimir Putin addressed the Federal Assembly with annual Message. The Message announcement traditionally took place in the St. George Hall of the Kremlin in the presence of over 1,000 delegates. Delivering the message was attended by members of the Federation Council, State Duma deputies, members of the Government, heads of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, regional governors, the chairmen of the legislative assemblies of the Federation, heads of traditional religions, public figures, including the head of the Public Chamber of Regions, the heads of major media .

The audience commemorated the fallen soldiers who gave their lives in the line of duty, the memory of all Russian citizens who died at the hands of terrorists with a minute of silence.
