Updating the legal framework

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky signed some laws adopted earlier by deputies of the Supreme Council.

From January 1, 2020, persons with disabilities of the second and third groups of vision, children with disabilities under the age of 18, children with disabilities of the eyesight of the three groups will receive free glasses for vision correction every two years. This is the essence of the amendments to the law “On Social Protection of Disabled Persons” adopted by parliamentarians. There are 157 people in need of such glasses. In the 2020 budget for these purposes it is planned to reserve 62 thousand rubles.

Long-livers living in the republic (100 years and older) in accordance with the new norms of the law “On state support of long-livers” are exempt from fees for services for the removal of solid waste.

The additions to the law “On payments for pollution of the environment and use of natural resources” signed by the head of the republic stipulate that in cases when the owner of real estate concludes an agreement on the provision of services for the collection and removal of garbage in the absence of prescribed households, payment for the removal of solid waste not charged.  

The President signed the law amending the current norms of the Housing Code. As noted in the adopted law, “persons who have untimely and (or) not fully paid for residential premises and utilities must pay the lender a penalty in the amount of 1/300 of the central bank’s refinancing rate in effect on the day of actual payment. amounts for each day of delay, starting from 61 calendar days following the day of the due date of payment, to the day of actual payment". Now the debtor on utility payments fines are charged from the 26th day.

When concluding an agreement on installment payments for residential premises and (or) utilities, no interest is charged.
