Replenishment of the model of the Tiraspol fortress

The insignia of the 55th Infantry Podolsk, 56th Infantry Zhitomir, Polotsk and Aleksopol Musketeer Regiments were solemnly opened in the Catherine Park, where the model of the Tiraspol Fortress is located. The event, timed to coincide with the Day of National Unity, was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with his wife, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva, representatives of ministries, city authorities, clergy, and the public.

Each visitor thanks to the opening of the signs will be able to find out which regiments of the Russian army were stationed at different times in Tiraspol, participated in the construction of the city and made a significant contribution to the military history of the Pridnestrovian region, the press service of the PMR President reports.

The opening ceremony was attended by Suvorovites, cadets, as well as servicemen of the Guard of Honor, celebrating today the 24th anniversary of the formation of the unit.

All the guests at the end of the event visited the exhibition of equipment prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
