Employment assistance for disabled people and student bonuses

Tomorrow, October 7, there are about 15 issues included to the agenda of the plenary session. The deputies will also discuss it online. A number of legislations are of a social nature. Parliamentarians will consider legislations related to the employment of people with special needs in the second, final reading. Now employment centers can help in employment only for disabled persons of the III group. After adoption of the amendments to the legislation, persons with disabilities of I and II groups will also be able to register as job seekers. At the same time, support will be provided for unemployed people with disabilities, and individual assistance will be provided in employment. Conditions will be created for their work and professional adaptation.

A legislative initiative has been prepared for consideration in the first reading on encouraging the most active students - those who have shown themselves in creativity, sports, scientific and social activities. It is proposed to pay lump sum payments from the savings of the scholarship fund. The amount of payments should not exceed the minimum amount of the scholarship.

The deputies will also consider tomorrow amendments to the Labor, Civil, and Criminal Procedure Codes.

The next plenary session, by decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council, will be held on October 21.
