Assistance to rural outpatient clinics in the Grigoriopol district

25.01.2022

Rural medicine is being developed in Pridnestrovie. Rural outpatient clinic was renovated in the village of Speya, Grigoriopol district in 2020. The rotten roof was replaced with a new metal one. Modern plastic ones were installed instead of wooden windows and doors. Most importantly, Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 8 "Southern" the heating system was adjusted. Vladimir Pelin and the leadership of the village administration provided assistance in carrying out the repair work.

“Young specialists lived in the outpatient clinic in the village of Speya, who were sent to practice in Soviet times. Therefore, it was not an outpatient clinic, but a house where young cadres lived. Then a feldsher-obstetric station was equipped here, and since 1977 – a rural medical outpatient clinic. We did repairs in the building on our own and with the help of the village administration. We were given lime, cement, paint. Fulfilling the program of voters' orders, Vladimir Dmitrievich helped to carry out external and internal repairs of the medical facility. We express our special gratitude to the deputy of the Supreme Council and our administration, because by joint efforts we managed to make repairs and install heating,” said the Head of the rural medical outpatient clinic of Speya of the Grigoriopol district Svetlana Skimbator.

The rural outpatient clinic in the village of Speya serves more than two thousand people, on average 15 people come to the first-aid post every day. Now the outpatient clinic is warm, cozy and has created conditions for comfortable work. The deputy of the Armed Forces for the district allocated money for the repair of the rural medical outpatient clinic from the Fund of Voters' Orders.

“This program has existed since 2018 and has had a very positive impact on our village. We have repaired a rural outpatient clinic, which was in critical condition. The roof was replaced, windows and doors were replaced. The most important thing is that we have adjusted the heating system, that is, it has already become warm and comfortable for our people. I would like this program not to stop, but on the contrary, its budget increases every year”, said the secretary of the Council of People's Deputies of Speya of the Grigoriopol district Eleonora Krokhmalyuk.

Svetlana Skimbator, the Head of the rural outpatient clinic, added that the program for the execution of voters' orders helps to solve socially significant problems. For example, last year a passenger car was purchased for rural medical outpatient clinic.

“I have been working in the outpatient clinic in the village of Speya since 2001. We had a "Raf" car, it was over 30 years old. It was outdated and it was impossible to move around on it. Therefore, we turned to the deputy of the Supreme Council with a request to fulfill one more of our orders and provide the rural medical outpatient clinic with transport. The car is needed in order to transport people from Speya to the regional center of Grigoriopol, it is also necessary to go home and provide emergency medical care”, Svetlana Skimbator explained.

A red Subaru car was bought with funds from the Voter Orders Fund. In addition, the doctors of the rural outpatient clinic in the village of Speya would like to improve the area around the building and install a new fence. We also plan to equip a bathroom inside the rural medical outpatient clinic and supply warm water to all the offices in the near future.

Not the only rural outpatient clinic is located in the constituency number 8 of the deputy of the Supreme Council Vladimir Pelin. Last year, the budgetary funds of the Voter Orders Fund managed to help the rural outpatient in the village of Malaeshty, Grigoriopol district.

“The staff of the rural medical outpatient clinic turned to the deputy of the Supreme Council Vladimir Dmitrievich Pelin with a request to replace the old boiler with a new gas one. In 2021, we fulfilled this order, and a new boiler with a chimney was installed in the building where the day hospital is located. The work was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the gas industry. We would like to keep it warm. Windows and doors in the building of the day hospital must be replaced for this. They have not changed since the construction of the building, and this has been about 50 years”, said the Head of the rural medical outpatient clinic of Malaeshty, Grigoriopol region Nadezhda Davydova.

The village council allocated funds for the purchase of a gas boiler. Money from the Voter Orders Fund went to install, purchase components for the boiler, as well as to equip the chimney that is necessary for the normal operation of the new gas boiler, Nadezhda Davydova added.

Parliamentarian Vladimir Pelin and his assistants have been compiling a list of voters' mandates for the past year. They determine the cost estimate and select the objects that require repair in the first place at the moment. The “South” constituency number 8 will continue to pay attention to social and healthcare facilities in 2022.
