Help of Russia

Russian delegation visited Pridnestrovie at the end of March this year. Residents of the republic met not only with parliamentarians of the State Duma, and with the Deputy Executive Director of the "The Russky Mir" foundation, the pro-rector of St. Petersburg University, Sergey Bogdanov. Latest Russian edition were donated from the funds of the Russian guest to the library in the republic. The Central Library of Grigoriopol received dozens of copies of school encyclopedic dictionaries and manuals, scientific and popular literature for teachers of Russian language and history. The ceremonial delivery of books was attended by Deputy of the Supreme Council Oleg Leontiev.

Library staff appreciated the gift, noted the significance of this event. The problem of libraries of the republic is the acquisition of book fund. Assist of Russia promotes in its decision.
