Remember the lessons of history

Thousands of residents of Dubossary - representatives of labor collectives, public organizations, military units, soldiers of the Dubossary garrison gathered to remember the tragic events of 1944, bow to the heroic deed of Soviet liberator soldiers and honor the memory of the fallen during the Great Patriotic War to the city's Memorial complex. The head of the state administration of Dubossary and Dubossary district Ruslan Chaban, the deputy of the Supreme Council, the chairman of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction Peter Pasat, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Vladimir Kostenko addressed the townspeople with congratulations.

Deputy Petr Pasat called to remember the lessons of history and give eternal memory to the soldiers-liberators. Petr Pasat appealed to the district administration with an appeal to support the initiative of the Tiraspol state administration to provide all-around assistance to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the eve of Victory Day. There are only 12 of them left in Dubossary district.

Ruslan Cheban, Peter Pasat and Vladimir Kostenko during the meeting presented the young Dubossary citizens with a passport of a citizen of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Participants of the meeting laid flowers to the graves of fallen soldiers, took part in the rally along the streets of the city to the memorable places of the Great Patriotic War, the end point of which was the Hill of Glory.
