Pridnestrovian State University became part of the “Test on the History of the Great Patriotic War” annual international event today. It is held by the Youth Parliament of Russia on the eve of the Day of the Unknown Soldier, which is celebrated on the 3rd of December. The organizer of the test in Pridnestrovie was the Youth Parliament of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The purpose of the event is to preserve and transfer historical knowledge about the Great Patriotic War to the younger generation.
Students of Pridnestrovian State University and young parliamentarians took an active part in preparing and conducting the test. Questions included the main events of the Great Patriotic War, facts, personalities and dates of the most important operations and battles.
The event at Pridnestrovian State University became not only an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their knowledge, but an event that helped strengthen patriotism and knowledge of their history.
