Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, deputies Peter Pasat, Oleg Belyakov, Andrei Sipchenko took part in the events dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the beginning of the repulse of the armed aggression of the Republic of Moldova against Pridnestrovian people. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky, parliamentarians, government representatives, defenders of Pridnestrovie, members of public organizations, citizens came to the holy for residents of Dubossary place - Memorial complex of military glory.
March 2, 1992 for the history of Pridnestrovie - this is the same as June 22, 1941 for the USSR. The beginning of large-scale aggression of Moldovan nationalists against freedom-loving Pridnestrovian and at the same time the beginning of its repulse. Those March days in Russian historiography are usually called "black Martisor". Although the victims were not the first, in the beginning of March, the third attempt was made to seize Dubossary and split Pridnestrovie into two parts at the geographically narrow section of it, but then it began what we now call a full-scale armed conflict and aggression. The war of 92 began in Dubossary, when on March 1 the first chief of the local militia, created by the young republic, Igor Sipchenko, was fatally wounded. Then on March 2, a Russian Cossack volunteer, 18-year-old Mikhail Zubkov were the victims. The same day, servicemen of the Moldovan OPON attacked the regiment of civil defense of the 14th RF Army stationed in Kochiyer. Blocked Russian servicemen and their families were liberated by fighters of the Republican Guard. In this battle Guardsmen from Tiraspol were killed who were the first to be buried in the capital's Memorial of Glory.
The meeting in Dubossary was opened by the President of the republic Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The historical excursion to March 92 was made during the speech before the countrymen by the chairman of the Union of Women of Pridnestrovie Tatiana Dolishnyaya.
The leadership of the republic, residents of Dubossary with weapons shots of the guard of honor company, mourning music, laid wreaths, baskets of flowers and flowers to the graves of soldiers who died for the freedom and independence of the Motherland.
In 2017, on the appeal of the Dubossary citizens, by the decree of the President of the PMR on March 2 was included in the list of memorable dates of national importance.
