We remember the unprecedented feat

Deputies of the Supreme Council took part in the events dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the end of the war between Moldova and Pridnestrovie.

A mourning meeting was held in Rybnitsa at the memorial of the defenders of the republic, where deputies of the Supreme Council Yakov Galak, Vasily Kunitsky, Vadim Kravchuk, deputies of the district council, local government administration, members of the fighting for the protection of Pridnestrovie, their relatives, representatives of the Renewal Foundation,, labor collectives of the city, the party website reports.

The events continued in the city's art gallery, where a photo exhibition "The guy took the machine gun, because it's necessary to the Motherland" was prepared for this day. The exposition presents documentary footage of the summer of 1992, photographs from the life of defenders who have not returned from the battlefields. Participants of the events visited the Alley of Fame of the city cemetery, where a memorial service for those killed was held.

The mass event "A Wreath of Memory" was held on the embankment of the Dniester. 31 wreaths fell on the river surface in memory of the deceased defenders of Pridnestrovie, residents of Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district.

A rally-requiem was held in Dnestrovsk. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Kirova, deputy of the Supreme Council from the city of power engineers Viktor Guzun, head of the state administration Sergey Karyuk, representatives of public organizations and residents of the city.
