The Half-Century Anniversary of the School

There were celebrations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the city secondary school No. 2 in Dnestrovsk. It first opened its doors in 1967, becoming the second home for children of builders and power engineers, employees of a young enterprise - the Moldavian GRES. Students, teachers, city dwellers and numerous guests gathered for the jubilee in "The Energetik" House of Culture. Director of the school Lyudmila Kondratyuk, opening the holiday, said that a lot of people who found their way in life came out from the walls of the school.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Viktor Guzun had a speech. On the eve of Teacher's Day, the head of the state administration of Dnestrovsk Sergey Karyuk, the deputy of the Supreme Council Viktor Guzun and the deputy of the Tiraspol city council, the chairman of the city party organization of “The Obnovlenie” Lyubov Zolotnikova also congratulated other pedagogical collectives of the city, the party website reported. Teachers - custodians of knowledge, culture, spiritual values, and people with a subtle soul - wished health, well-being, and grateful students.
