The Ground for Teamwork

One of the issues discussed during the meeting of the presidium of the parliament concerned the interaction of the Supreme Council and the Government. It was raised by the head of the parliamentary committee for economic policy, budget and finance Alexander Korshunov. In his opinion, the most important issues for joint discussion at the moment is the draft of the republican budget for 2018, the tariff policy and the functioning of the sphere of housing and communal services. According to him, the last two topics are often raised during meetings of deputies of various levels with voters at the place of residence and during citizens' receptions on personal issues.

The joint meetings of the presidiums of the Supreme Council and the government are called to be a platform for the exchange of views, the head of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction Petr Pasat supposes. He said that it is planned to be held next week. Vice-premier Stanislav Kasap was appointed responsible for interaction with the parliament in the supreme executive body.

The need for joint consideration of the problems voiced by Alexander Korshunov with the Government was also supported by Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba. He expressed his conviction that the sphere of housing and communal services needs, rather than reform, to improve its own infrastructure, so that the residents of the republic receive high-quality and properly provided public services.
