Members of “The Obnovlenie” faction in the course of the meeting discussed legislations on the agenda of the plenary meeting.

Legislators supported the law-in-draft of the President, introduced in the legislative necessity regime, regarding amendments to the law that determines the procedure for remuneration of public sector employees. We are talking about raising money limits for financing the State Institution "Republican Sports Rehabilitation and Restoration Center for the Disabled". Starting next year, it is planned to partially commission a multifunctional sports center for the disabled in Tiraspol. It is planned that the center’s staff will grow by 38 people, these are both trainers and persons accompanying persons with disabilities. The need for additional budgetary allocations for the remuneration of its employees will amount to approximately 1.5 million rubles.

The legislative initiative of colleagues Sergei Cheban, Ilya Vasiliev, Vladimir Pelin, aimed at updating the norms of the law “On pharmaceutical activity” is among those supported by members of the faction. It is to increase the security level of the pharmaceutical market of Pridnewstrovie. The authors proposed to prohibit the import into the territory of the republic not registered in at least one of the CIS countries, including Ukraine, or the European Union of medical and pharmaceutical products. This will be an additional measure to protect Pridnestrovians from importing substandard medicines.

As part of the preparation of the law-in-draft “On the Republican Budget for 2020” for the third reading, members of the parliamentary group discussed issues on the principles of financing research activities, the work of research laboratories, and tourism development. At the same time, various points of view were expressed on some important topics. The final decision regarding the 2020 budget will be made during today's plenary.
