Signed by the President

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky signed laws, adopte by the deputies at the first plenary session of this year. The Law "On the Public Chamber of the PMR" prescribes cases where the authority of a member of the Public Chamber can be terminated. The former law is supplemented with a clause according to which the PMR President is entitled to withdraw a member of the Public Chamber approved by him.

The second law, signed by the President changes the norms of the Marriage and Family Code. "The court has the right to claim the person obligated to pay alimony, to release him fully or partially from the payment of arrears in alimony and (or) arrears in the payment of penalties for late payment of alimony, if it finds place in connection with the illness of this person, military service by conscription or for other valid reasons and his financial and marital status does not allow to repay the arrears in alimony and (or) debt to pay a penalty for late payment of child support", - says one of the articles of the law.

The laws, signed by President Vadim Krasnoselsky come into force on the day following the day of official publication - February 1, 2019.
