Preparation for the election of the President of Russia

The issues of organizing and conducting voting in the territory of Pridnestrovie were discussed in the course of extended meeting by the President. As the presidential press service informed, participation in its work is headed by the executive and legislative branches of government, heads of ministries and departments, as well as state administrations of cities and districts of the republic.

Presidential elections will be held in Russia March 18, 2018. On the day of elections, 24 polling stations will be opened in Pridnestrovie. In accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova, a number of ministries and departments have been entrusted to the voting organizations. The official responsible for the preparation and conduct of the election campaign in the PMR is the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the PMR, Elena Gorodetskaya.

The President noted that Pridnestrovie traditionally demonstrates a high turnout for the Russian elections.
