Preparing for the first days of September. Meeting with the President

The video conference of the PMR President with the heads of state administrations took place today. It was attended by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg. The main topic of discussion is preparation for the beginning of the academic year and the celebration of the Republic Day.

It was noted in the course of the meeting that the main celebrations dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the creation of Pridnestrovie will be held in Tiraspol. The head of the capital's state administration Oleg Dovgopol said that national farmsteads and farmsteads of enterprises of the republic will open at exactly 10 am in the Catherine Park. Flowers will be laid at the graves of the fallen defenders of these lands in different years at the Memorial of Glory. An extensive festive program is planned, which will end with fireworks. However, the celebrations this year on September 2 will be held in all cities of Pridnestrovie without exception. Vadim Krasnoselsky is sure that Pridnestrovians will able to have a good rest during the holidays. He reminded that Monday, September 4 will be an additional day off.

As for the start of the school year, solemn assembly lines will be held in all schools of Pridnestrovie on the 1st of September. 4190 children go to the first grade in the republic this year. Educational institutions are ready for the start of the school year. The President noted that all schools have passed inspections. There is one general remark where capital repairs have not yet been carried out at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund program. We are talking about the absence of fire alarms, the repair of catering units, toilet facilities and gyms. Vadim Krasnoselsky directed the heads of state administrations to pay attention to solving these problems when including objects in the program of the Capital Investment Fund first of all. He emphasized once again the importance of the Capital Investment Fund for the republic and social facilities.

The President recalled that all schools of the republic are switching to a five-day education system this academic year. Only the 11th grades of gymnasiums and lyceums will continue to study on Saturday. The President recommended that the heads of cities and districts take this issue under personal control. Vadim Krasnoselsky urged to keep childhood and health of children, giving them the opportunity to additionally engage in sports and creativity, as a harmonious personality develops in this way.

Meetings are planned next week to be held at the site of the Presidential Administration on the preparation of a law on the republican budget for 2024 and on how it is planned to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War in Pridnestrovie.
