Deputies Oleg Leontyev and Vladimir Timofeyev proposed to extend some measures of support for Pridnestrovian economic entities, enshrined in the law "On certification of products and services".
Thus, the rules are extended until the end of 2025, according to which, in the presence of a certificate or declaration of conformity (or other document) from the CIS member states and European countries, mandatory recognition or re-issuance of the certificate and conformity mark (or other document) by an authorized state authority of the PMR or an accredited organization for imported products (with the exception of medical and pharmaceutical products) subject to mandatory certification are not required.
A rule will be in effect according to which products and raw materials manufactured and sold in Pridnestrovie and subject to mandatory certification do not require a mandatory Pridnestrovian certificate of conformity (with the exception of medical and pharmaceutical products)until the end of next year. However, this rule is valid only if the manufacturing organization has certified quality management systems, as well as valid certificates of conformity for these systems and their registration in the State Register of Certified Quality Management Systems and Certificates of Conformity for Quality Management Systems. Another important condition is the manufacturer of products or raw materials compliance with the frequency of tests to determine the conformity of their products (raw materials) with the safety requirements established by the current legislation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The authors of the law-in-draft noted that these rules have been in effect in the republic since August 1, 2021. Extending them for another year is a necessary measure in the context of the ongoing difficult economic situation until the end of 2025. Pridnestrovian enterprises will not pay money for mandatory certification, which will allow them to avoid additional financial costs.
Deputies supported the initiative of deputies in two readings at once at the plenary session, taking into account the amendments developed by the Government. The new norms in the law "On certification of products and services" will come into force immediately after signing by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and official publication.
