Supporting healthcare workers during the fight against coronavirus

Medical workers posted to covid hospitals will receive additional payments for the specifics of their professional activities. Such payments will be made in exchange for the travel allowances that medical personnel receive today during the fight against coronavirus infection. The corresponding law-in-draft, sent by the PMR President in the mode of legislative necessity, was adopted by the deputies of the Supreme Council in two readings in the course of the plenary session.

Additional payments for the peculiarities of professional activity will be calculated taking into account the specifics of the working conditions of medical workers. Such additional payments are provided, including for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection, for working with patients with suspected COVID-19, for taking measures to combat and prevent the spread of coronavirus. The amount of the additional payment ranges from 100 to 1000 MW (from 730 to 7300 rubles), depending on the organization, structural unit, category of employees and position.

The adopted amendments to the law "On measures of state support in connection with the introduction of state of emergency and (or) restrictive measures (quarantine) aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection caused by a new type of COVID-19 in 2020" were sent for signature to the PMR President.
