Parliamentarians voted today in two readings for a package of legislations that propose to extend until December 31, 2024 for sanatorium and resort institutions the rule for establishing a reduction factor of 0.4 when calculating income tax. The authors of this legislative initiative were deputies Alexander Korshunov and Galina Antyufeeva.
This rule was first introduced in December 2020 in connection with the coronavirus as one of the measures to support enterprises by the state. The rule was extended several times and was supposed to end on December 31 of this year. Employees of the sanatorium in Kamenka approached the parliamentarians, and based on the requests, law-in-draft was prepared with a proposal to extend the tax benefit until December 31, 2024.
The authors of the initiative consider that the extension of this support measure will give our organizations that provide spa treatment services the opportunity to invest in improving their own infrastructure and creating conditions that will ultimately be used by Pridnestrovians. First of all, we are talking about the sanatorium in Kamenka. The deputies agreed in the course of the plenary meeting with the proposal of their colleagues and voted to make changes in two readings at once.
