Support large families

The Government initiated amendments to the law "On state support for large families". The purpose of the law-in-draft is to increase the standard of living of large families and provide comfortable living conditions for children. The author proposed to annually provide educational supplies for each student from a large family. In addition, the document deals with the establishment of a discount of 75% for utility legislations for families with 10 or more children. Today, for families raising 5 or more children, there is 50% discount.

According to the representative of the ministry, more than 5.5 thousand children are brought up in large families today in the republic.

Amendments to the law "On State Support for Large Families" were supported by the deputy corps in the first reading. The second reading of the document is scheduled for the next plenary meeting, which will be held on December 25.
