Today the VI Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum began its work. Heads of Pridnestrovian enterprises, foreign guests, economists, public figures and the leadership of the republic gathered in the Palace of the Republic. Large-scale exhibition of the achievements of Pridnestrovian producers waited for in the foyer.
The forum was opened by Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Tsurcan. He emphasized that every year a number of forum participants is growing. This year, the site attracted nearly 600 foreign guests from 15 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom and others. Alexey Tsurcan read out the welcome address of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky.
Prime Minister Alexander Martynov emphasized that the President, the executives and the legislators were set serious tasks - economic growth, the creation of new jobs, increase in state budget revenues, and increase in wages and pensions.
The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Shcherba called the forum a good platform for developing ideas.
The forum program is rich: dozens of discussions will be within the framework of panel sessions. All activities are aimed at expanding the scale of the national economy, boosting investment activity, and demonstrating Pridnestrovie as a prosperous investment state. The speaker of one of the sessions will be the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, the deputies will also express their position.
