Plenary session of the PMR Supreme Council scheduled for the 5th of February

Meeting of the parliamentary Presidium was held online on January 31. The heads of a number of Committees put forward specialized legislations prepared for adoption in the first or second reading by the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on the agenda of the plenary session scheduled for the 5th of February.

The Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms has prepared amendments to the laws on citizens' appeals, the Criminal Procedure Code, etc. for consideration by the deputy corps. Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Criminal Code have been prepared for the second reading, introducing measures of liability for drunk driving on electric scooters and other means of personal mobility. The draft Resolution of the Supreme Council "On the appointment of members of the Central Electoral Commission of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" has been included in the agenda of the plenary session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare proposes to consider in the first reading a package of legislations that will encourage employers to employ disabled people of groups I and II. A number of legislations have been prepared for the plenary session on the 5th of February by the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, including amendments to the tax legislation.
