The plenary meeting of the Supreme Council has been postponed to April 17

The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic held a regular online meeting of the Presidium today.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov made a proposal to change the date of the plenary meeting. The heads of parliamentary committees and commissions supported the proposal and by decision of the Presidium, the plenary meeting of the Supreme Council scheduled earlier for April 10 was postponed to April 17. The agenda of the plenary meeting was updated today. The Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens has prepared draft laws for consideration and adoption in the first or second readings. Among them there are legislations on amendments and additions to the Criminal Executive Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and to the law “On the detention of suspects and accused of committing crimes,” which may allow children under 4 years of age to be near the suspected or accused mother. The law currently grants this right until children reach 3 years of age.

The deputy corps will consider the draft resolution of the Supreme Council “On the creation of a special commission for the development and implementation of the Unified Automated System “Electronic Legal Proceedings in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”. Amendments will be also made to the State Program for the Execution of Voter Orders for 2024.
