The meeting of the Bureau and “Obnovlenie” faction took place on the eve of this year's last meeting of the Supreme Council.

The subject of discussion was a series of initiatives of the president, made to Parliament in the regime of legislative necessity. Among them – there are the amendments to the law "On Banks and Banking Activity", as well as a new law-in-draft "On the Central Bank." The final document provides a number of fundamental innovations, leveling the role of the legislature. In particular, it is expected the law-in-draft that from now the Supreme Council will not approve the estimates of income and expenditure of Pridnestrovian Republican Bank. The number of representatives of Parliament in the banking council decreases. Other story are identified. Deputies will consider both legislations at today's plenary session.

Participants of the meeting of the parliamentary faction “Obnovlenie” affected some aspects of the law-in-draft aimed at changing the rules of the law "On the domestic trade". They propose to oblige the retail food stores, shopping halls area of not less than 100 square meters, constantly be available with domestically produced goods in quantity and variety, which are set out in the applicable government regulations. Members of the faction noted that the law-in-draft hurts fair competition environment, infringes on the rights of consumers, contrary to the laws of logistics. They consider that the interaction between domestic producers and distributors in the market should be based on contractual relations.

These and other issues, according to the decisions taken later at meeting of the presidium of the parliament, will be included in the agenda of today's plenary meeting. In addition, its members discussed amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences made by the president in the regime of legislative necessity. They relate to the tightening of administrative responsibility for violation of the state border crossing at checkpoints. Measures for administrative detention, community service, and others are provided as the administrative. It is up to deputies to decide on these and other legislations to expand the agenda for today's meeting of the Supreme Council.
