The Plans for the Youth Parliament of the IV convocation formation

The next plenary meeting that will be held on March 10 will be held online due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation.

Members of the Presidium discussed the issue of including in the agenda of plenary sessions of draft resolutions "On the fourth convocation of the Youth Parliament under the Supreme Council of the PMR" and "On approval of the Regulation on the Youth Parliament under the Supreme Council of the PMR and the Regulation on the procedure for forming the Youth Parliament under the Supreme Council of the PMR" according to the schedule.

The deputy corps will consider the Regulation on the Youth Parliament under the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the course of the plenary session on the 24th of March. The competition commission of the Supreme Council will accept applications from university students and members of youth organizations and parties wishing to become members of the Youth Parliament. It will include deputies and employees of the parliamentary apparatus. It is planned to instruct the city and district Councils of People's Deputies to form territorial competitive commissions and hold a selection competition.

The III convocation of the Youth Parliament has been actively working and has repeatedly sent its proposals to the Supreme Council on solving urgent issues of concern to young people. The III convocation of the Youth Parliament considered over 250 issues. Young deputies put forward 12 proposals for the creation of legislative initiatives. The ban on the circulation of tobacco-free nicotine-containing products is among them, as well as the tightening of liability for drunk driving with children. The Youth Parliament made proposals on the Strategy for the Development of the State Youth Policy of Pridnestrovie for 2021–2026. Two agreements on cooperation were signed with Russian organizations during the years of work of the Youth Parliament of the III convocation.
