The parliament's plans for the near future

29.06.2021

The parliament's agenda includes the "Textbook" draft state program. It is designed for five years. The previous program expires this year.

The new program will provide schools in the republic with textbooks in the Moldovan and Ukrainian languages. It is also planned to provide kindergartens, special educational organizations and professional institutions with educational and methodological literature. It is planned to allocate about 5 million rubles in total from the republican budget for implementation of the "Textbook" program for 2022–2026. Deputies will consider the draft document in the course of the plenary session on the 30th of June.

The agenda of the plenary meeting of the Supreme Council, which will be held tomorrow, June 30, includes law-in-draft with amendments and additions to the laws "On Transport" and "On the Republican Budget for 2021". The state intends to provide support to transport organizations that carry passengers.

It is proposed to supplement the Law "On Transport" with the concept of "socially significant regular route".

Transport organizations suffer serious losses in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 due to a decrease in passenger traffic, transportation has become unprofitable. People who live in remote settlements cannot get to the regional centers. In addition, there is no discount travel provided by law.

The Government made a proposal to designate routes to remote villages, which, in fact are unprofitable, in the law as socially significant. The state will compensate losses to organizations that carry passengers on such routes.

They plan to abolish the state duty for the use of this trademark for entrepreneurs who want to use the sign "Buy Pridnestrovian!" when labeling their goods. The Supreme Council in the course of the plenary meeting on July 7 will consider this law-in-draft in the second reading. The deputies consider that the abolition of the state duty for using the sign "Buy Pridnestrovian!" will be another step for the promotion of goods of domestic producers in our republic.

A group of deputies of the Committee on Agroindustrial Complex, Industry, Housing and Utilities and Transport proposed to exclude subjective factors in the procedure of examination for the state of alcoholic intoxication. The Supreme Council will consider amendments and additions to the laws "On road safety", "On the militia" and the PMR Code on administrative offenses in the first reading at the next plenary session.

It is proposed to supplement the unified state register of immovable objects of cultural heritage. The memorial sign "Tank crossing" will be included in the register. It is located in the village of Sukleya. The law-in-draft is included in the agenda of the plenary session of the Supreme Council for June 30. The memorial sign "Tank crossing" was installed on May 9, 1985 at the initiative of the villagers. It is dedicated to the Soviet soldiers and villagers who organized the crossing of Soviet troops to the right bank of the Dniester during the Iassy-Kishinev operation. It is planned to improve the territory near the memorial sign and install an information board telling about the events of the Great Patriotic War it is dedicated to.

The Supreme Council will consider the draft state target program for capital investments and capital repairs for 2021-2026 at one of the next plenary sessions in the first reading. A long-term program will start operating this year. Previously, objects that the state planned to build or repair were included in the program of the Capital Investment Fund when considering the budget for the next year.

The program includes objects of health care, education, social security, culture and sports, which are planned to be built or renovated.
