Plans of the deputy corps for the autumn session

The Supreme Council opened the VIII (autumn) session of the VII convocation on September 4. It will last from September to the end of December 2024. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov shared his plans for legislative work with parliamentary correspondents of the Pridnestrovian and Russian media.

The speaker emphasized that the first meeting of the autumn session was attended by the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky, who presented the deputies with a package of legislative initiatives on equating the term "transnistria" with the concepts of fascism and Nazism. The PMR Supreme Council Chairman noted that the deputy corps fully supported this important legislative initiative. The Supreme Council considered a number of important legislations in the first reading today, work on them will continue. The plans include consideration of two codified acts.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR emphasized that parliamentary committees will continue to work towards payment of utility legislations by the population in order to reduce multi-million debts to natural monopoly enterprises.

According to the speaker of parliament, the deputy corps plans to adopt legislations that will preserve or provide state support measures to enterprises and organizations of Pridnestrovie for 2025, despite the difficult external political situation and internal problems. Traditionally, laws on the republican budget and on the budget must be adopted by the end of the autumn parliamentary session, the Unified State Social Insurance Fund for the next year.
