Catering for employees of educational institutions

Employees of educational institutions will now be able to eat in educational institutions and kindergartens. The Slobodzeya Council of People's Deputies proposed to legislate such a norm.

The need to amend the law is due to the fact that employees of educational institutions, especially in rural areas, are not always given the opportunity to dine outside the school or kindergarten. Food for teachers was not provided at all within the walls of educational institutions. Now teachers will be able to dine with students and pupils on a paid basis.

This mechanism is already working in the Russian Federation. There, the local public education department is responsible for organizing meals for both school staff and students. The PMR Supreme Council adopted corresponding amendments to the law "On Education" in the final reading.
