The International Scientific and Practical Conference "Yakovlev readings" is held at the Pridnestrovian State University. It has become a significant event not only for future lawyers, but also for professionals, scientists, and government officials over the past few years. The participants respond to the conference as the symbiosis of science and practice.

Welcoming address to the participants of the conference was sent by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky. It highlights the growing popularity of this scientific platform, both in the republic and abroad. The President noted the special role of Vasily Yakovlev, whose name the readings have. A veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Doctor of Law, co-author of the Declaration of Independence and the first Constitution of the PMR, the initiator of the creation and the first rector of the State University Vasily Yakovlev took a direct part in the formation of the Pridnestrovian statehood.

The student of the newly established law faculty of the State University was the chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba. About his first teacher - Vasily Nikitich - the speaker speaks with special warmth. The basics of the profession that Vasily Yakovlev laid in his students became a real guiding star for Alexander Shcherba.

Mikhail Burla, the head of the parliamentary committee for education, science and culture, is sure that education is the basis for the future of the state. He made a report, which drew attention to the current problems in this sphere. According to the parliamentarian, only a quality education can provide the republic with the necessary professional staff. That is why state support is so important for education.

The consequence of this was that the diploma of the PSU will now be recognized not only in Pridnestrovie and Russia, but also in 140 countries participating in the Hague Convention. Graduates of the State University together with the diploma will receive a document with an apostille.

"Yakovlev readings" will last for two days. Scientists and practicing lawyers from Russia, Moldova, Ukraine and other countries will share their experience with students.
