Pridnestrovian State University celebrated its 91st Birthday

Pridnestrovian State University is 91 years old today. Organizers of the holiday arranged a bright and eventful program in honor of this event, artists performed for students, teachers and guests of the event. The ceremonial meeting began to the sound of the autumn blues. The event was attended by the deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Oleg Petrik, the rector of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko Stepan Beril, faculty and students.

The history of modern education in Pridnestrovie began with the Pridnestrovian State University as a multidisciplinary university. PSU has played a huge role in the formation, development and preservation of our republic and statehood, said Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Oleg Petrik at the solemn meeting.

Oleg Petrik congratulated the team and his native university on another birthday. He wished many years of development, prosperity over the centuries for the benefit of Pridnestrovie and the entire people.

The rector of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko Stepan Beryl presented the best employees of the university with orders, medals, certificates and letters of thanks. Irina Kropivyanskaya - teacher of the agrarian and technological faculty of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko. She has been teaching gardening, plant protection and ecology to students for about three years. She was presented with a letter of gratitude from the Ministry of Education of the PMR today.

Pridnestrovian State University is a multidisciplinary, classical university now that trains specialists for all sectors of the national economy. More than 10 thousand students study at the university at all levels of professional education: primary, secondary and higher. Personnel training is carried out in accordance with the state order. Young specialists are assigned to enterprises and institutions of the republic on the basis of applications from employers according to the state distribution system. More than 45 thousand people have received diplomas from the state university over the past 30 years.

Laura Lupachescu and Cristina Bocanca are first year students of the Institute of Public Administration, Law and Social Sciences and Humanities of the Pridnestrovian State University. The girls want to become PR managers. Today they shared their impressions about transformation of the university.

The solemn meeting was continued by the festive fair of faculties. Students will talk about their professions and show creative numbers. The idea of ​​this format of the fair is a more detailed acquaintance with the entire structure of the university.
