Deputies have to visit all the cities of the republic to get acquainted with socio-economic situation of each region on the instructions of the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, within the framework of work on the draft budget for the current year. The first city that the people's deputies visited was Bendery. Today, Deputy Petr Pasat and representing the interests of the residents of Bendery in the legislative body of the republic Alexander Korshunov met with the city leadership.

The head of Bendery State Administration, Roman Ivanchenko, emphasized that the city has a close relationship between representatives of the two branches of Government. Currently, the city authorities are engaged in the development of municipal programs for economic and social development. The head of the city said that deputies of the local and Supreme Council are involved in this work.

Then a meeting of parliamentarians with their colleagues-deputies of the Bendery City Council took place, during which the chairman of the parliamentary committee on economic policy, budget and finance Alexander Korshunov told about the main economic indicators. The issue of establishing joint Moldovan-Ukrainian posts at the Kuchurgan checkpoint, as well as an appeal to the guarantor countries and mediators adopted by the deputy corps on this issue was also raised. The parliamentarians stressed that the installation of posts will adversely affect the work of not only economic agents, but also Pridnestrovian citizens.

The meeting with the city authorities lasted for two hours. Deputy of the Supreme Council Petr Pasat told about results to the parliamentary press service.

Deputies plan to visit Slobodzeya in the near future where they will meet with the head of the state administration and deputies of the local council.
