May Day gathered residents of Dubossary for a festive meeting

The Head of the state administration of Dubossary and Dubossary district Ruslan Chaban addressed the townspeople. He specifically outlined in his speech the role of labor people in creating the industrial and agricultural potential of Dubossary district in the Soviet years. He shared his plans to perpetuate the names of six natives of the district - Heroes of Socialist Labor in the center of the city, so that residents of Dubossary remembered and were proud of their fellow countrymen.

The parliamentarian, the chairman of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction Petr Pasat told about measures of the Government and the Supreme Council to improve the economic situation in the republic, the state policy in the sphere of vocational education. He wished his fellow countrymen optimism and a good spring mood. In the course of the festive meeting, the congratulations were addressed to the citizens by the chairman of the Dubossary Council of People's Deputies Anatoly Sitnik, the chairman of the district coordinating council of trade unions, Sergey Demyanov, leaders of public and trade union organizations of the district.

A festive atmosphere on the first day of May in Dubossary created creative teams, including municipal brass band. There was an exhibition of retro cars in the city.
