The first stone in the foundation of the future church in the name of St. Alexis - the man of God today was solemnly laid in the village of Novotiraspolsky. The memory of this saint who lived in Rome at the end of the IV - beginning of the V century, the Orthodox Church honors March 17 (30).

The clergy of the Tiraspol diocese of the Tiraspol-Dubossary eparchy, parliamentarians, including the deputy for Zapadny constituency, Galina Antyufeeva, the leader of “The Obnovlenie” party, deputies of the City Council, residents of Novotirnolsky took part in the episcopal service.

The church will be built near the entrance to the village, it will be erected for donations. According to the chairman of the Council - the head of the administration of the village Andrey Tyrgoal, local residents made an initiative to build the church.

Novotiraspolsky is located on the south-western border land of Tiraspol, is administratively subordinated to the Tiraspol City Council of People's Deputies. The territory of the settlement, covering an area of ​​43 hectares, there are 23 apartment buildings and 54 private households. Here is the agrarian-technological faculty of the PSU named after T. Shevchenko, Agrarian Technical College named after M.V. Frunze, industrial commercial enterprises - fish farm "Aquatir", rosary and others. Its present status was granted to the Novotiraspolsky settlement by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the MSSR on March 26, 1982. Last Saturday, the village celebrated its 35th anniversary.
