First decisions of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament of the IV convocation

The first legislative initiatives and participation in republican actions were discussed by members of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament of the IV convocation at the first meeting.

Young parliamentarians formed the agenda of the plenary session. It is necessary to make changes in the structure, personal composition, as well as the rules of procedure of the Youth Parliament. In addition, young parliamentarians will have to consider law-in-draft with amendments to the law "On state youth policy". This is an initiative of the Youth Parliament Legislation Committee. The new law-in-draft is due to the fact that in 2020, posts of specialists in youth policy were created under each state administration of cities and districts. Special profile department appeared in the Ministry of Education. The leadership of the republic pays great attention to issues of youth policy.

The Presidium supported the initiative of the Committee on Legislation on the participation of the deputies of the Youth Parliament in the campaign for the greening of the republic.

The draft of two appeals to the Government with a request to allocate the required number of seedlings and to the State Administration of Tiraspol with a request to indicate the place where the Youth Parliament could plant tree seedlings were considered at the meeting of the Presidium.

The plenary session of the Youth Parliament is scheduled for November 11.
