Prospects for the development of tourism

The priority direction for the republic is the development of tourism. It takes a lot of effort to improve the infrastructure and to regulate the legal norms of the industry. What are the prospects for the development of the tourism industry in Pridnestrovie, discussed in the framework of the round table held at the site of “The Obnovlenie” party. The dialogue was attended by deputies of the Supreme Council, scientists, teachers of the Perm State University, employees of the tourism industry, students and high school students.

Anton Onufrienko began the conversation on the tourism. The development of this important industry will lead to economic growth, said the deputy. The process of attracting tourists, overseeing the work of travel agencies - these issues are required to be prescribed in the legislation.

Traditions, history, culture of the Pridnestrovian region emphasize its uniqueness. This cultural heritage that we inherited from our descendants must be preserved, participants in the meeting said. The information component is also important.

Favorable climate, clean river, preserved originality, abundance of fruits and vegetables attract tourists to our republic. The fact that the sources of mineral waters in the Kamenka and Rybnitsa regions are not inferior in quality and therapeutic properties to the waters of the Caucasus, said Ph.D., associate professor of PSU Viktor Paly. The teacher of the natural-geographical faculty of the main university of the country made a presentation. Through photographs and extensive textual information, he spoke about the tourism potential of Pridnestrovie.

The participants of the round table meeting, speaking about the rich potential of the republic, expressed the opinion that in order to adequately represent their region, everyone needs to know Pridnestrovie better. Organizational experience, real ideas and practical advice that were voiced during the round table meeting will serve as a guideline for the development of the tourism industry in Pridnestrovie.
