Re-equipping the fire department with new vehicles under the control of parliamentarians

Deputies of the Supreme Council approved today a draft resolution on approval of the progress report on the implementation of the “Re-equipment of Fire Department Service Vehicles” for 2021-2029” State Target Program for 2023.

It was planned according to the PMR Law “On the Republican Budget for 2023” to allocate more than 16.5 million rubles for the implementation of the “Re-equipment of fire department service vehicles” program for the purchase of 7 vehicles: 5 fire tank trucks, 1 emergency response vehicle and 1 fire ladder truck. The program is being implemented on time, the official representative noted at the plenary meeting, however that due to external circumstances the delivery of equipment, which required an extension of the deadlines for fulfilling contract obligations, was delayed.

The keys to 5 new fire trucks were handed over to firefighters on April 19 in a solemn ceremony on the eve of their professional holiday. They were made according to the order from Pridnestrovie and delivered to the republic from China. These are advanced models equipped with the latest technologies to combat fires. The combat crew of such a vehicle includes 6 people. 2 vehicles will serve in Tiraspol, the remaining 3 are for Slobodzeya, Bendery and Rybnitsa.

Deputies had questions in the course of the plenary meeting about the purchase of a fire ladder, which was included in the program for 2023, and about the place of its distribution.

The draft resolution on the implementation of the state program was prepared by the specialized Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex and Transport and received unanimous support from deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
