26.02.2024

The PMR Supreme Council Deputy for constituency No. 21 “Slobodzeya” Pavel Shinkaryuk reported to voters about the work done in the district on February 24.

The meeting took place at the regional House of Culture.

Pavel Shinkaryuk devoted the first part of his report to legislative work in the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The deputy emphasized that at plenary sessions he always supported socially oriented legislations and the adoption of state targeted programs. Pavel Shinkaryuk told Slobodzeya residents from the stage of the district House of Culture about changes in legislation and the implementation of republican and municipal development programs in 2023.

The deputy said during the report that the issue of preserving the Slobodzeya Polytechnic College arose urgently in February 2023. As part of the optimization of the system of secondary vocational education, it was supposed to be closed, sending students and teachers to other educational institutions of the republic.

Pavel Shinkaryuk is deputy chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Public Associations, Information and Youth Policy in Parliament. Pavel Shinkaryuk together with his colleagues on the Committee regularly introduces legislations in the field of education and culture to parliament. One of these legislative initiatives is the introduction of amendments and additions to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic “On Cinematography” and to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

A great help in the work of the deputy is the program of the Fund for the Execution of Voters' Orders. Thus, a new children’s play complex for the youngest townspeople appeared in the central playground of Slobodzeya in 2022 thanks to the program’s funds. As Pavel Shinkaryuk said, local residents asked to install the gaming complex. Assistance was provided to the House of Culture in the eastern part of the city of Slobodzeya as part of the Voter Mandates Fund in 2022. Choreographic stands and mirrors for the hall where children's dance groups practice, and a drum and sound equipment for vocal and instrumental groups were purchased.

The amount of funds allocated to each district under the Voter Mandates Fund was increased from 350 thousand to 500 thousand rubles last year. Thanks to this, modern sound equipment was purchased for the district House of Culture. The deputy actively helps the city’s creative groups, including the pride of the city and the region – the exemplary dance ensemble "Rhythmic Dance", in which more than 250 children from Slobodzeya and settlements of the region study. New costumes and shoes were purchased for young dancers thanks to the program for fulfilling the orders of voters last year.

Pavel Shinkaryuk at the end of the report thanked the residents of Slobodzeya for their trust and noted that the effectiveness of the deputy’s work in the district largely depends on coordinated work with local deputies, the leadership of the state administration and social activists.

Pavel Shinkaryuk emphasized that the work of the deputy does not stop for a minute. Citizens' requests are received regularly. The public reception of the deputy is open on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00 at the address: 26a, Frunze Street, Slobodzeya.
