Easter readings were held in Tiraspol in the days of Lent. The forum was organized by members of the Youth Parliament with the support of the Supreme Council and the Tiraspol-Dubossary Diocese. The theme of the Easter readings is “The Modern Youth and the Orthodox Church”. Deputies Oleg Vasilaty, Mikhail Burla, Ruslan Gareev are among participants. According to the organizers, the idea of today's event is based on the experience of Russia.

Educational readings were held in a lively discussion format. The report was made by representatives of the government, churchmen, and the youth expressed their opinion. The speakers noted: today's Easter readings are a landmark event that contributes to building a dialogue between the government, youth and the clergy. According to Alexander Savich, it is necessary to give young people the opportunity to feel involved in government affairs, for example, in the sphere of culture or education. The church, in turn, should be more open to young people.

The head of the parliamentary committee on economic policy, budget and finance Oleg Vasilaty spoke about the principles that should be fundamental to the life of young people.

The ministers of the church urged the youth to be active, to work for the good of others, to show mercy and compassion.

Exhibition of paintings of Orthodox subjects was organized in the hall of the Palace of the Republic. The author of the works is Pridnestrovian artist Denis Korobkin. The organizers are confident that the holding of Easter readings will become a good annual tradition.
