Vice-speaker of parliament Galina Antyufeeva leads the largest political party of the republic. Her candidacy was unanimously supported by participants VIII Congress of the "Obnovlenie". Elected Chairman expressed gratitude for confidence and encouraged to consolidate their efforts to solve the most important problems of state - the economic recovery, the return of people to the republic.

Presiding before Mikhail Burla resigned, freeing time and energy to scientific activities: he will defend his doctoral dissertation.

As for the points of contact with the Russian reality, the number is so great that they have developed a red thread uniting all the speeches of the participants of the forum. Pridnestrovian poet Leonid Litvinenko by means of his poems returned like-minded people in the days of the creation of republic, when future Pridnestrovians united front came to the defense of the Russian language. He had nearly paid with his life for the line, collected under the title "My Russian" in the early 90s. Today they, as well as the theme of the unity of Russia and Pridnestrovie, have not lost relevance. Russian parliamentarian Vladimir Taskaev, in turn, recalled that parliamentary elections will be held in Russia in September, and expressed confidence that Pridnestrovian Russians, as before, will become an example of electoral activity.

At the end of the event, the participants adopted a resolution, which reflected that "the difficult socio-economic situation requires unusual responsible decisions that can change lives of Pridnestrovians for the better". Development of the program of activities highlighted in the socio-economic development, attraction of Russian investments, strengthening of inter-faction cooperation between United Russia and "Renovators" were determined as priority areas for further. The importance belongs to creation of legal mechanisms regulating the activity of a single system of representative bodies, as well as strict control of the State's social safety.

There was a concert with participation of the honored artist Jan Osin at the end of the forum. Vice-speaker of Pridnestrovian parliament Galina Antyufeeva presented a departmental award "25 years of the Supreme Council".

The good news was sounded for the creative team "Stozhary" from Grigoriopol. Its representatives were invited to the international festival of folk direction for older people, held within the framework of socially significant project "Through folk art to the quality of life".
