The parliamentary vacation may be reduced

10.05.2016

The possibility of reducing the vacation was discussed during the last meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council. It was reported in an interview with the chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, Alexander Martynov.

The head of the legislature Vadim Krasnoselsky by the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council sent a letter to the Prime Minister with a request to determine a specific date when the legislators will be presented a report on the activities of the supreme executive authority in the past year.

Deputies of the Supreme Council have to adopt changes to the constitution, as well as in the Constitutional Law "On the Government of PMR" and "On the Rules of the Supreme Council" in the third and final reading. It was proposed to enshrine at the legislative level the position requiring the highest executive authority submit opinions on the law-in-draft within 30 working days. It is primarily a question of legislative initiatives related to public finances, the budget process. According to the parliamentarians, the government has repeatedly blocked, hindered the progress of the legislative process that did not provide timely official conclusion for the law-in-draft that was submitted for the deputies.
