The parliamentary delegation discussed the implementation of projects with Russian funds

The delegation of the PMR Supreme Council, headed by Speaker Alexander Korshunov, is completing a working visit to Moscow. Today's program includes meetings with the heads of major Russian state and public organizations and foundations that cooperate with Pridnestrovie within the framework of various programs and projects.

The first meeting was in Rossotrudnichestvo. The Pridnestrovian parliamentary delegation was received by the Head of the organization Yevgeny Primakov and his deputy Natalya Poklonskaya. The interlocutors summed up the implementation of the agreements that had been reached earlier, and then outlined specific plans for the project of retraining Pridnestrovian specialists, for targeted programs and the New Generation project. "New Generation" Rossotrudnichestvo has been implementing since 2011. This is a program of short-term study trips to Russia for young (from 25 to 35 years old) representatives of political, public, scientific and business circles of foreign countries.

Russia will continue to send textbooks and books on the study of the Russian language and in Russian to Pridnestrovie. The speaker emphasized that the deputies enlisted the support of the head of Rossotrudnichestvo in this matter. Yevgeny Primakov assured that textbooks, programs, and digital products for learning the Russian language would be delivered to Pridnestrovie in full. A plan for the work of Rossotrudnichestvo in our republic for this year will be formed in the near future.

Pridnestrovian parliamentarians met with Elena Sutormina, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Russian Peace Fund today. The Russian Peace Fund board is headed by Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.

Another meeting of the deputies of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Viktor Guzun and Sergey Cheban was held at the at the Heritage Research Foundation named after P.A. Stolypin. Its President, historian, well-known public figure Pavel Pozhigailo, acquainted the Pridnestrovian delegation with the directions of the foundation's work and agreed to participate in several working projects.

Alexander Korshunov stressed that the parliamentary delegation worked on expanding humanitarian cooperation with the authorities and fellow deputies, and with public organizations during the visit to Moscow. It is large funds and organizations that will help Russia and its regions to learn more honest and objective information about Pridnestrovie.
