Parliamentarians honor birthday veterans

The first in the New Year meeting of Tiraspol NGO "Veterans of war, labor and armed forces" was held last week. Participation in the work took and the deputy of the Supreme Council Ilona Tyuryaeva. She congratulated the veteran organization activist Galina Semenovna Shcherbina on the 85th anniversary, who lovingly takes care of veterans and their widows, rear workers, veterans of labor, knows their problems and tries to help in every way many years. Veterans, in turn, congratulated the deputies on the victory at the elections on November 29 thanked for the work and attention to the elderly.

One of the birthday persons of the day this year - is Boris Nerubaschenko. Among those who congratulated the veterans on the 90th anniversary, there was also a deputy of the Supreme Council, Igor Buga.

Like many of his contemporaries, Boris was called up to active duty at the end of the war, when the Soviet troops expelled the Nazis from the west of the states of Europe. He liberated Poland. In the early 50's took part in the Korean War - the conflict between North and South Korea, which is now considered by historians as a proxy war between the United States and its allies on the one hand and the forces of China and the Soviet Union on the other. Veteran said that this war is not discussed so often, called it the unknown, forgotten, even though it lost a lot of Soviet soldiers. Talking to the soldiers, Igor Buga - a veteran of the war in Afghanistan - recalled that the soldiers-internationalists, fulfilling the task of homeland, fought in 25 countries.

Two days later, Igor Buga congratulated rear worker Lidia Ivanovna Vlasova on the 90th anniversary. Hostess told about his life, youth, scorched by war. When she was a girl, she worked at a factory in the Kirov and assembled anti-tank grenades for the front.

Residents of Tiraspol know her from registry office in the city. Over the years, Lidia Ivanovna presented a marriage certificate to more than one thousand pairs of newlyweds. Lydia Vlasova has been a deputy of the Capital City Council for 12 years.

Nina Alexandrovna Shishina, Vera Vladimirovna Petukhova, Zinaida Sergeevna Janusz were congratulated on the 80th anniversary. Jadwiga Vladimirovna Evseeva celebrated 90th anniversary. also took Maria Samsonovna Schepilo (92 years) and LIubovi Afanasevna Balan (91 year) received congratulations.
