The Parliament adopted a number of legislative decisions

Plenary session was held online in the Parliament of Pridnestrovie. There are about 20 items on the agenda. On a number of legislations, the deputies had questions and a discussion started. As a result, these legislations did not receive enough votes to be adopted in the first reading and were rejected as a whole.

Among those adopted in the first reading there is law-in-draft on introducing amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses and improving the law on state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses relate to the establishment of administrative liability for beatings or minor bodily harm. It was proposed by the PMR Prosecutor.

The law-in-draft proposes to clarify the very concept of light bodily injury.

The law-in-draft was adopted in the first reading and will be finalized by the second reading, taking into account the proposals of the deputies.

Parliamentarians adopted today in the first reading a package of legislations that simplify the procedure for registering legal entities and individual entrepreneurs and exempt from paying state duties in some cases. For example, it is proposed to exclude the re-registration of an individual entrepreneur (Peasant farm enterprise) as a whole, as a legal phenomenon and mechanism, replacing it with “amendments to the information about an individual enterprise (Peasant farm enterprise) contained in the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs”, and allow for registration, individual entrepreneurs should not provide copies of identity documents and confirming registration or residence in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Deputies adopted the initiative of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the second final reading at the legislative level assigns some settlements to courts in other regions in the course of criminal and administrative proceedings. For example, in relation to the residents of Dnestrovsk, Kremenchug and Sukleya, the cases will be considered in the Tiraspol city court, and in relation to the residents of Parkany, Kitskany and Mereneshty – to the city court of Bendery.

The next plenary session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is scheduled for the 2nd of March.
