The Parliament of Pridnestrovie adopted amendments to the law on state measures to minimize the consequences of the energy crisis

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic sent to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the legislative necessity mode the law-in-draft "On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the PMR "On State Measures Aimed at Minimizing the Negative Impact on the Economy Associated with the Reduction (Termination) of Natural Gas Supplies to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" with a review period of June 12.

The law-in-draft was presented to the deputy corps by the Minister of Economic Development Sergei Obolonik. The addition was made first of all to the title of the law, the validity period of which is set for the entire 2025.

Thus, the debt for housing and communal services for the period from January 1 to June 30 will be distributed proportionally for each month until the end of 2025, and from July 1, the requirement to pay all utilities on time returns.

The provisions that relate to the submission of reports and permits, which expired in May, have been excluded from the law.

Some provisions of the law on minimizing the consequences, which regulate certain actions of government bodies, have been extended at the same time. The deputy corps supported the law-in-draft in the first reading. The Committee on Economic Policy prepared for the second reading which took place today at a plenary session the amendments that extend the validity of some state support measures until the end of 2025.

The Law "On Amendments and Supplements to the Law of the PMR "On State Measures Aimed at Minimizing the Negative Impact on the Economy Associated with the Reduction (Termination) of Natural Gas Supplies to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in 2025" was adopted by the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in two readings.
