Panorama of the native land

Photo contest "Panorama of the Native Land" has been conducted in our republic for the fifth time. It is organized by the republican public organization "The Union of Photo Artists of Pridnestrovie" with support of “The Obnovlenie” Republican Party. About 150 young people from 10 to 25 years became contestants this year. The results of the photo contest were summed up today in the exhibition hall of the Memorial House-Museum of Academician Nikolai Zelinsky. The organizers selected 75 of the brightest and most extraordinary works that were included in the exhibition. The photo-artists were addressed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba.

His colleague Oleg Vasilaty is visiting the exhibition not for the first time following the results of the photo contest "Panorama of the native land". The deputy noted: the level of submitted works is growing every year.

Photo contest "Panorama of the native land" annually opens new names in the sphere of photo art. The main task, set by the organizers, is to instill in young people love for their native land. Participation in this contest for many children became a tradition. Natalia Gushan has been presenting her works for two years. This year, she took third place in her age category. Three of her works, including a portrait of a girl in a poppy field and two colorful landscapes of the capital, conquered the jury. The girl says: photography is an art that has conquered all of her family.

All participants of the photo exhibition were presented with flowers and diplomas. Winners of two age categories received memorable gifts from the organizers.
