The meeting requiem in memory of eight heads of enterprises and organizations of the city, who died on July 6, 1992 was held in Dubossary, near the building of the local state administration. The event was attended by representatives of the deputy corps of the district, deputy of the Supreme Council Petr Pasat, members of public organizations, defenders of Pridnestrovie. Exactly 26 years ago, Rafael Gareyev, Ilya Guritsenko, Vyacheslav Dodul, Gennady Kuznetsov, Natalya Lupolova, Galina Marchenko, Stepan Pokotilo, Vasily Radovsky became the victims of shelling, which was carried out by the Moldovan forces of large-caliber guns. Heads of the city, leaving the meeting on the issues of life support of the city, perished from the rupture of the projectile on the threshold of the city council.
During the meeting, they noted: July 6 is one of the tragic days in the history of the city. The same day, the Dubossary village of Tsybulyovka underwent massive bombardment, killing seven people, including children.
Anna Volkova, adviser to the president of the republic on social policy, made a speech at the rally. She emphasized that the remains of the bombardment on the building of the Dubossary administration are "traces of history, the memory of which must be passed on to future generations".
Grateful countrymen laid flowers to the memorial stone on the site of the death of the heroic Dubossary.
