The memory is alive. Dubossary

Events dedicated to the memory of the leaders of enterprises, organizations and civilians who died during shelling in 1992 were held in Dubossary and in the village of Tsybulevka on July 6.

The following leaders were killed that day, as a result of a shell hitting the building of the Dubossary City Executive Committee: Rafael Gareev, Ilya Guritsenko, Vyacheslav Dodul, Gennady Kuznetsov, Natalya Lupolova, Galina Marchenko, Stepan Pokotilo, Vasily Radovsky.

A ceremony of laying flowers at the granite sign took place at the state administration building in memory of the victims, in which relatives and friends of the victims, city and district leaders, deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Boris German, representatives of public organizations and the local branch of the “Renewal” republican political party took part.

Residents of Dubossary laid flowers at the graves of those killed at the Military Glory Memorial.

The laying of flowers at the memorial sign took place in the village of Tsybulevka, where 7 villagers were killed, including three children, and 15 people were injured as a result of heavy shelling on July 6, 1992.
