In memory of the defenders of the Homeland

The ceremony of laying flowers at the monuments and graves of soldiers who at different times gave their lives defending the Homeland took place at the capital's Memorial of Glory on Defender of the Homeland Day. The ceremony was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov and other officials.

The memory of the fallen and deceased soldiers and officers was honored with a minute of silence. The presidential wreath was lowered to the Eternal Flame, stone slabs with the names of the fallen defenders and at the pedestals of monuments of Memorial of Glory in Tiraspol.

Flower-laying ceremonies were held in all cities and regions of the republic on Defender of the Fatherland Day.
