In memory of one of the founders of the republic

2015 is full of anniversaries. One of the most important - is the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. The same age – is of one of inhabitant from Tiraspol, who in his age had fifty times to celebrate the anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, and only 49 of their own birthdays. Andrei Panteleevich Manoilov had not lived to the "golden" anniversary, but managed for half a century, prematurely ended the life inscribe his name in golden letters in the chronicles of the history of Pridnestrovie. Created with his active participation state - is also anniversary institution. But Andrei Manoilov saw only the first five years of Pridnestrovie. And now, two decades of the republic preserves the memory of one of its founders.

Andrei Manoilov Sr. was the hero of many children's essays and serious nonfiction essays and articles. His identity, place and role in the history and formation of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic as the capital's students wrote and well-known journalists, people who know the person-legend Manoilov of historical chronicle, and those who have been closely acquainted with him.

He was, so to speak, from the people: the indigenous from Tiraspol, who grew up in the harsh conditions of the postwar years, the son of a railway worker, hard worker in the best sense of the word. Car mechanic by profession, Andrei Manoilov drove a dump truck, headed one of the “Tiraspoltransa” collective teams, was a true innovator of production, seeking to create the most favorable conditions for those who worked under him. Each stone bridge connecting Tiraspol and Bendery, keeps the memory of the vigorous transport brigadier, day and night to delivered goods to accelerate the introduction of the strategically important object. And this is just one of the creations of the worker, activist, volunteers, statesman Andrei Manoilov. In the early 90s he was one of the leaders of gaining strength and political weight to the popular movement. The first in the history of the Congress of Pridnestrovian deputies of all levels, and later - a referendum was organized and held with his participation. Andrei Panteleevich was a deputy of the Supreme Council and a member of I convocation UCWC, was a member of various commissions and delegations, defending the interests of Pridnestrovie as on the territory of the republic and abroad. Manoilov parted in the creation of the various bodies and institutions of state power. His efforts in Pridnestrovie have formed a system of state control. Andrei Panteleevich, heading the Committee was to protect the interests of the state and took care of the needs of subordinates. To this day, the successor agency - Audit Chamber - housed in a building erected by the initiative and direct participation of Andrei Manoilov. They say when the construction and finishing work was nearing completion; he once mentioned that this building will be a monument to him. The words proved prophetic ...

In complex for the young state period when its leader Igor Smirnov was in the torture chambers of Moldova, the republic's leadership has been temporarily transferred to the capable hands of Andrei Manoilov he served as Chairman of PMSSR. This choice influenced his characteristic patriotism, organizational skills and the ability to respond instantly to changing circumstances. Self control, prudence and balance did not betray him. He clearly saw the purpose and firmly step moved to it. When aggression Moldovan OPON troops off scale, Andrei Manoilov insisted on the creation of a body that would shield and sword of the young republic. A commemorative plate with a portrait of the founder of the state agencies, Andrei Panteleevicha Manoilov has been for many years an integral part, a recognizable attribute of the KGB building. His widow Galina Ivanovna - is the guest of honor in all events organized by followers of Andrei Manoilov of national importance. The KGB was the initiator of renaming the street where the building is situated (which, incidentally, the only one in the history of Pridnestrovie). Once Privoznaya, and then the Communist Street since 200 officially bears the name of Andrei Panteleevich Manoilov.

Good spirits and positive attitude never left Manoilov. The militiamen, guardsmen and Cossacks called him not only as "our Colonel". He was equally confident holding a guitar and the machine gun is equally well versed in topography, exploration, politics and people. In late 1991 Manoilov was appointed Plenipotentiary Representative of the President on the Dubossary direction. Coordinating actions of disparate groups, gathering intelligence, he spent day and night to combat positions, rushed from the bridge and back to the theater, inspiring confidence in the rightness of the defenders of the protected matter. Frontier commandants office in Dubossary was named after Andrei Manoilov in 2010, 15 years after his death.

Life of the simple and great man was finished by an accident. A professional driver with great experience was killed in a car accident. Andrei Manoilov did not live exactly one month before his fiftieth birthday. Associates, wife, daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many thousands of people of the republic will keep his memory about his, as he was at the beginnings of the formation of the republic.
