The memory of one of the founders of the republic Alexander Gusar was honored in the city of Slobodzeya today. He headed the district Department of the people's militia during the formation of the republic. Alexander Davydovich was burned to death in his own car by members of the Bujor Moldavian nationalist group on the 8th of May, 1992. His friends and associates, deputy of the Supreme Council Pavel Shinkaryuk, district leaders, deputies of the district Council, and the public came to honor his blessed memory and express their condolences to his relatives.
